Click on Confederate note for photo $1 Confederate note, 27 currently available at $29.00 each. The one dollar note is a very scarce item since it was passed so much and few survived the war, plus the fact it wasn't worth much by the end of the war, a pair of boots cost $500 (confederate). This note obviously passed through many a persons hands, very possibly, many a soldiers hands. 1862 notes are hard to find. |
